EPA released revised final renewable fuel standard regulations on February 3, 2010 and they were promulgated at 75 FR 14670 (3/26/10). 

  • Boutique Fuels

    “Boutique fuels” are fuels that have been specially formulated for use in a particular region to help that region meet its local air quality requirements.

  • Diesel Sulfur

    The Environmental Protection Agency established regulations in 2001 and 2004 to substantially lower the sulfur levels in diesel fuels.

  • RFS/Biofuels Mandate

    Current federal and state renewable fuel standards (RFS) and biofuel requirements include a number of various ethanol and biodiesel mandates.

  • Gasoline Sulfur

    The Environmental Protection Agency established regulations in 2000 to substantially lower the sulfur content of gasoline.

  • State Motor Fuels Specifications

    NPRA has compiled information by state to reflect various federal and state gasoline and diesel fuel requirements.

  • MSAT

    EPA promulgated Mobile Source Air Toxics (MSAT) rules in 2001 and 2007 applicable to gasoline.
