Who We Are
NPRA has successfully served the refining and petrochemical industries for 106 years. Founded in 1902 as the National Petroleum Association, the Association remains true to its original purpose of providing a forum for members to communicate and share best practices and new technology in order to maintain safe facilities, promote environmental improvement, and to provide an effective channel of communication between its members, government and the public.
NPRA maintains its purpose through a dynamic committee structure which provides counsel, expertise and support to the association and its activities. The committees are responsible for the level of excellence NPRA has achieved in its national conferences and meetings held annually.
